Knotts Island Canvas Over Wire Goose

This goose decoy is made by an unknown hand and it is attributed to Knotts Island, North Carolina. It is very unique in that the bill and head are a mortise and tenon joint. The maker of this goose was obviously a very gifted furniture maker.
