19th century in the early Renaissance style, oil on gilt ground on panel, one presented in the original gilt and polychrome decorated tabernacle frame.

Frame dimensions 35 1/2 x 15 1/2 in.; Single panel 25 3/4 x 12 in.

Frame with some loss and scattered chipping; trumpeting angle with minor paint flaking and crazing and light scratching to gilt ground; unframed angel with loss to paint on skirt of gown, crazing to gilt ground, minor flaking to perimeter of panel.
