19th century, one gallon size, salt glazed stoneware, decorated with bands of impressed rings which extend from the collar to the mid-section, over which has been stamped the capacity within a circle, otherwise unmarked.

Good condition; some potting flaws as made such as inclusions; expected wear to inner rim.
