Late 18th century, arched and molded crest rail, five arched back splats all having Gothic motif cut-outs, brown naugahyde over-upholstered seats with brass tack trim, front straight molded legs with inside chamfer, dovetailed stretcher base, rear slightly down-swept legs.

Private Collection, Richmond, Virginia One later custom chair (early to mid 20th century); later upholstery with some scratches; surface wear throughout to the frames; several edge chips and dings especially to the legs; one crest rail broken and reset; several rear legs with hairline cracks at through tenon joinery (but stable).
