George / Dec. 25th. 1895>, a family note included here traces descent ( 34-3/4 in.) (worn shaft with a few dents to the handle); the second an ebonized shaft is topped with a curved handle terminating in an elephant head, the tip being a dangerous steel tip (36-1/4 in.) (handle poorly fitted; overall wear).
