Harry Raymond Henry was born in Kansas and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, St. Louis Academy, and with John C. Johansen in Minnesota.

After a brief residence in New York City, Henry moved to Los Angeles, California in 1910. It was here that he developed his pointillistic style and bright palette for which he is best known. Henry moved several times around southern California, from San Juan Capistrano to Laguna Beach. He exhibited works at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.

Good estate condition.
