The double strand necklace strung knotted with (63) and (67) round Akoya pearls (8.0mm average) and completed with a diamond set platinum clasp centering on a prong set emerald cut diamond (8.31 x 7.35 x 4.17 mm) weighing 2.08 carats (actual) (E color, VVS2 clarity) within a halo of channel set tapered baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.84 total carats (F-G color, VS clarity) framed by prong set round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately .80 total carat (F-G color, VS clarity), clasp with a diamond set push release and under fold safety.

From a Savannah, Georgia and Greensboro, North Carolina Estate and by Descent Purchased in March,1965 from F. Staal and Co., formerly located at 548 Madison Ave, New York City and with copies of original correspondence and appraisal signed F. Staal.
Pearls are well matched in color and size and display a cream body color with rose overtones, excellent luster, lightly spotted surface and acceptable nacre quality.
Good condition.
