George III Mahogany Chest on Chest

Circa 1800, oak secondary, two part form, cove molded cornice with dentil trim, fretwork frieze, upper case with two over three graduated lipped drawers flanked by canted fluted corners, the base with applied waist trim, pull-out dressing slide over three lipped drawers on shaped bracket feet.

72.25 x 41 x 20.5 in.

Later drilled pulls; no key; some drawer secondary reworked; missing locks; several drawer facings with cracks/repairs; later feet.
