George Washington O'Neal (1869-1949), Ocracoke, North Carolina. George made a lot of decoys for the Gooseville Gun Club. The club was formed in 1914 in Hatteras Village. This brant is branded LDB for Luther Dudley Burrus, Sr. (1884-1962). Luther guided at the club for many years and this brant served his hunting rig well. It has a nice fat body and a very pleasing form.
