Second quarter 20th century, rigmates to this decoy are published on page 148 of Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina by Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey. It sports an extremely attractive paint application with copper bill. This running decoy may have been made in either North Carolina or New Jersey.
