Timothy Bowden (1836-1913), Knots Island, North Carolina. Timothy is well known for his iconic dowitcher decoys with double wire bills. He was a waterman by trade and maintained his own stand of shorebird and duck decoys. There are no known surviving examples of his duck decoys.
