Southern Late Federal Mahogany Sideboard

Attributed to Norfolk Virginia, circa 1820, mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, vertically veneered backsplash with reeded and turned spindle gallery, top edge with banded veneer, three upper side by side drawers, above four hinged paneled cabinet doors, shaped shelved interior, four ring turned half column stiles, paneled sides, applied reeded molding at base, raised on six turned legs, the front four with distinctive beehive turning and brass caps.
