Originally from California, Kathleen Jardine lives with her family and animals in the woods outside Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A pictorial realist, her paintings are puzzles for the viewer to wander through. Her large scale figural compositions rarely come to market. In an interview with The Artist's Magazine, Jardine details her seven weeks spent working on this painting.
