Charlie Warren Garrish (1917-1971), Ocracoke, North Carolina. Charlie carved one known stand of canvas brant and geese decoys. This goose is extremely well composed and has glass eyes which is unusual for Ocracoke decoys. It has the carved brand CWG, which indicates it was used in his rig. This decoy has been on Ocracoke Island for over seventy years.
