Manie Haywood, Goose, Canvas Over Wire

Manie Haywood (1898-1969), Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. This fine goose is important as it was made by arguably the finest canvas over wire maker and was used in Andy Griffith's hunting rig. Andy maintained a home in Manteo and hunted often with good friends from UNC-Chapel Hill.
