George Waterfield (1885-1926) Knotts Island, North Carolina. He was a market and sport hunter and focused his efforts in Currituck Sound. His life ended tragically in a murder/suicide. Prior to his death, he carved a rig of decoys for Cliff Johnson, the founder of Johnson and Johnson. This decoy has a nice plump body with his classic paddle tail.
