Homer Fulcher (1918-1995), Stacy, North Carolina. This curlew is a true masterwork by one of Core Sound's finest carvers. Homer was the first featured carver at the Core Sound Decoy Festival. He carved regularly with Alvin Harris as they also worked on Menhaden boats together. This decoy incorporates applied raised crossed wings; signed on drift wood base.
