Core Sound Beach Robin Flattie

Second quarter 20th century, a wonderful flattie beach robin decoy attributed to a maker from Carteret County, North Carolina. Flattie decoys such as these traveled well to the hunting marshes and were used with great success to lure in a variety of shorebird species.
