Marvin Midgett Canvas Over Wire Goose

Marvin Midgett (1884-1971), Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Marvin was great friends with Manie Haywood, Willie Lewark, and Avery Tillet. He served at the Life Saving Station with them and they all made some of the finest canvas over wire decoys to have ever been made. This outstanding goose has his iconic two piece head. This exact decoy is published on page 314 of Gunnin' Birds by Kroghie Andresen.
