Aaron Hooper, Black Bellied Plover Pair on Driftwood

Aaron Hooper (1874-1959), Salvo, North Carolina. This pair of plover decoys were probably made around the turn of the century. Aaron loved to hunt shorebirds on the Gull Shoal Island Club.
