Delbert Cigar Daisey (1918-2017), Chincoteague, Virginia. Cigar was given his nickname by a game warden when he lost some cigars while stealing ducks from the warden's trap. Cigar and his stories are of folk legend. His life and decoys have been memorialized in a book by Doily Fulcher. This pair of red breasted mergansers are a true masterwork. They represent his best effort and will remain evidence as to why he is so revered in the world of decoy collectors; branded Cigar.
