Southern Sheraton Walnut Chest of Drawers

Attributed to North Carolina, circa 1830-1850, yellow pine secondary, top with applied edge molding and rear chair rail overhang, four graduated flush mounted drawers, tall bold turned feet.

A nice late Sheraton form with original turned feet.

Top with dark staining and surface inconsistency, one board with shrinkage crack; left side molding slightly loose; replaced pulls; later escutcheons; no key.
