American Late Classical Carved Mahogany Rocking Chair

Mid 19th century, relief carved crest with foliate and leaf design, scrolled and pierced arm supports, serpentine front rail with ribbon molding at bottom edge, rockers with shaped front and rear tips.

Later upholstery now in fair condition with staining and wear; break and repair to the right and left arm supports; left rocker rebuilt.
