Atlantic, North Carolina, these early beach robin decoys are one-piece construction carved from one inch boards, the heads are in an upright position giving them a proud look, two of these exact decoys are published on page 77 of
Shorebird Decoys of North Carolina by Kroghie Andresen and Philip Harvey.

From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Ammi carved his first stand of beach robins around 1910 which he used to hunt shorebirds out on the Core Banks.
Original paint; one decoy has a chip under the bill.
