Gull Island was purchased by Alex Kotarides in the early 1950's. Alex put together a group of eight hunting and fishing partners and formed the Gull Island Gunning Club. Guides Same Boomer and Harry Bowman made a rig of well made canvas geese and swan decoys. They have thick baseboards and wooden tails. This goose is from that rig.
