The first being The Works of Mr. William Shakespear. (London: C. Hitch & others, 1770), nine volumes, full calf with gilt, 18mo (5-3/8 in.), the second being The Family Shakespeare, in Eight Volumes (London: Longman, Hurst, & others, 1823), fill calf with gilt, (Small octavo) (8-5/8 in.).

Both sets with moderate wear to boards; two volumes from the 1823 edition each have a disbound board that is present; overall good condition.
