Circa 1840, Caswell County, North Carolina, mahogany veneers, poplar and white pine secondary, rectangular ogee swivel mirror with tall columnar supports with turned and tiered finial posts, marble top with rounded corners and three side-by-side recessed glove drawers, the case with three long reverse-graduated drawers, all drawers with book-matched burl veneers, rounded corners, paneled sides, the case raised on bold turned feet.

All drawers with pencil inscriptions to underside of drawers with initials "J.A." and corresponding number, the glove drawers with some later pencil inscriptions; interior case with other lead pencil numbering.

Minor veneer chips; rear bottom back board original but likely flipped given the evidence of two inset attachment holes; missing two locks.
