George C. Kieffer (IL, 1932-2016), Two Hen Decoys

Rock Island, Illinois, naturalistically hand-carved with glass eyes, the smaller in resting pose mounted on a wooden base with artist card to underside (5 x 12 x 6 1/4 in.)(good estate condition); the larger hand signed "G. C. Kieffer /1980 / #C-301-H" (6 3/4 x 15 x 5 1/2 in.) (chip to tail feather and repair to wing, head is loose).
