John Farrow (1875-1934) and Wilse Farrow (1878-1951) Avon, North Carolina, brothers John and Wilse hunted and made decoys together; the root head brant carved by them exemplify the Hatteras decoy construction methods from the turn of the century; the bodies were made of juniper logs and the heads are typically root heads and varying head positions; they have wonderful folk art appeal; incised brand A.
