The first a sauce tureen with cover, 1868 date letter, the removable cover with finely cast model of a rampant lion with shield, two differing portrait medallions to shaped rim set against a stipple ground and surrounded by foliate chasing, model number 30 (7 1/2 x 9 3/4 x 5 in.): the second a sauce boat with near identical decorative motifs, 1870 date letter, model number 30 (LOA 9 in.); both with period "H" monograms.
