...William Wimley...has been connected with the Provost Guard and Military Detectives of this city, for over 29 months. He had proved himself every way capable & worthy of any position or business entrusted to him..."; the second, is an Autograph Letter Signed by Wimley to his wife Ann Eliza, May 31, 1864, saying he will come home when he can get a furlough, signing off with "
To my little wife and Big Baby; the third an Autograph Letter Signed, June 29, 1865, outlining family finances; the fourth , an Autograph Letter Signed, "
