Tink Tillet (NC, 1873-1985), Hen Canvasback

Wanchese, North Carolina, this canvasback was made in 1925 for the Phipps Island Club, they were hand chopped with in hatchet and exhibit very sharp chine lines.

Length 21 in.

The decoys from this rig are very important folk art forms and are highly desired.

Worn original paint; working repair to the neck.
