Mark and his son Max worked as a team making decoys. Mark taught all of his children and other family members to make decoys. Whipple also deeply influenced a carver named Noble Rogers who also made "black jacks" in his style.
Original paint, wood loss on right side of the tail; tight subtle crack in bill.
