Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, this redhead has a juniper body and willow limb head, some of his decoys had cypress bodies.

From the Personal Collection of Philip and Susan Harvey When he was a teenager, he helped his father Alfonso Tillet and uncle, Harry Hamilton build boats and carve decoys. When he retired from the Coast Guard in 1947 he carved a stand of 50-75 duck decoys. The wooden decoys had stylish root heads made out of willow limbs.
