Late 20th century, patinated cast bronze, a dynamic composition of two nude dancers posed with intertwining drapery, appears unsigned. This sculpture is a smaller version of the larger commissioned in the 1990's for the North Carolina School of the Arts Dance School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Richard Wayne Hallier was born in Kansas, and attended Kansas City, KS Junior College and Ringling School of Art & Design from 1966-1969. After a successful fifteen year career in the graphic and multimedia design industry, Richard devoted his time to sculpting. He produced over 70 life size figurative bronzes, many sculptures, and completed both public and private commissions.
He exhibited regionally and nationally and became included in many corporate collections and museums: NCNB corporate collections, Wachovia Bank, R.J. Reynolds, Northern Telecom, Hickory NC Museum of Art, and many others.

Some areas of rubbing and scratches to patina; surface staining and verdigris from outdoor display.
