The first is pewter mounted, the lid engraved "1757" with frontal German text within a wreath (7 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 4 in.) (hairline to left front; base pewter bent); the second is late 18th century delft with a blue chinoiserie design (5 in.) (rim roughness with small chips; base rim fritting and flakes; glaze to handle very thinly applied.)
