Southern Federal Cherry Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Virginia, early 19th century, poplar, white pine and yellow pine secondary woods, rectangular top with chair rail rear overhang, four graduated cock-beaded drawers, shaped French bracket feet.

37.75 x 39 x 22.25 in.

Top reset, now with later underside brace boards; no key; lower rear horizontal board possibly replaced; front right foot tipped one inch; left rear foot face tipped half inch.
