Native American Large Open Burden Basket

Probably Apache, early 20th century, woven with tinted narrow bands of oak splint, wrapped rim with pendant metal cones attached by rawhide strips.

Basket is out-of-round 14 x 14 1/2 x 16 1/2 in.

Breaks to the rim with numerous of the wraps broken or missing; pendants missing; the body weaving generally in good condition with only several breaks.
