Persian Brass Kashkul (Beggar's Bowl)

Late 19th century, bulbous kidney shape with spout and finial lid, the whole with finely chased figural narrative vignettes containing animals and flowering trees within shaped medallion borders, including four medallions with Persian calligraphic script, terminal ends with mounts and brass chain.
