American Small Half-Stock Percussion Rifle

Mid-to-late 19th century, unmarked, 30 in. octagonal barrel with approximately .40 caliber smooth bore; walnut stock with brass and German silver mounts, the latter to include an American eagle and shield device; wooden ramrod. Comes with rifle sock.

46 in. overall length.

Working action; brass elements with pleasing age patina; small area of fill on left side likely from side plate removal in the past. Very good condition.
