Late 19th or early 20th century, bronze circular mirror with reed wrapped handle, mirror is decorated in low relief with pine, bamboo, a pair of cranes, and long tailed turtle, all symbols in Japanese culture for longevity, inscribed to left hand side, reverse is smooth, black lacquer box has two family crests to cover.
