Two Framed Les Maîtres de l'Affiche Lithographs

Each a lithographic plate in colors, 1895-1900, to include Paris Courses and A New Life of Napoleon, sheets bear blindstamps, presented in uniform framing with gilt corners.

Frame dimensions 23 x 17 in.

Due to the popularity of the large, colorful advertisement posters of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, famed lithographer Jules Chéret organized Les Maîtres de l'Affiche series as a grouping of 256 lithographic prints that were smaller versions of the larger posters.

Good estate condition; some slight frame wear; not examined out of frames.
