John Lundren of Axtell, Nebraska began making canvas covered Canada goose decoys in the 1920s. Lundgren`s latter and more popular style were used as stick ups stuffed with wheat straw. He received a patent for this design in 1941. This decoy is constructed of heavy canvas stuffed with wheat straw, There is a square 1 inch receptacle in the bottom to hold a stake; wire hook in tai; patent number and name stenciled on the bottom,
