Eurasian Iron Axe Head With Gold Inlays

Possibly 18th century or earlier, socketed form, the blade with incised floral and geometric decoration, parts of which retain thin strips of gold fill. 5-3/4 in. overall height.

Expected pitting with some oxidation; some wear and loss to gilt.
