Each issue of the
The American Turf Register contains detailed information of interest to horse breeders, buyers, riders and racers. To a lesser extent, articles of interest to hunters and anglers round out the magazine. Engraved illustrations under protective tissue and fold-out diagrams are present in each edition.
Light foxing throughout the leather bound volumes, three of which have traces on mildew on their lower page edges; leather binding is attractive and tight; loose issues with expected deterioration to wraps, but generally they are good candidates for binding as well.
