Attributed to Virginia, early 19th century, mahogany veneer, poplar, yellow pine and oak secondary, dovetailed case, grey rectangular marble top provides a chair rail over-hang, two over three graduated cock beaded drawers each with light wood line inlay, three-quarter dust boards, base with checkered inlay at skirt, four French bracket feet.

From the Collection of Mr. John Wynne, Lynchburg, Virginia Fair condition; marble top is old and retains scratching and wear; some cock beading loss and repair; pulls likely later (but in original holes); missing two locks; lower bail detached but present; the base missing a large portion of the checkered inlay to the right side; other areas of wear and repairs.
