A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Ring Shaped Box with Cover and Candle Holder

Late 20th century, includes a box with cover, porcelain painted in underglaze blue with purplish tone, depicting a five-clawed dragon and phoenix flying amongst leafy lotus scrolls on the cover, the sides with a lotus petal motif, double line borders, inscribed to one side of the cover with an apocryphal 4-character reign mark, unglazed underside, and a blue glazed candle holder with raised decoration.

Box 2 1/2 in., 9 1/4 in. diameter; stand 7 x 6 in. diameter

The box has a possible kiln crack to underside; paper label to underside; the candle holder has a later copper tone paint to the underside; likely lacking a cover.
