Late 20th century, three part form in cast glass and gilt bronze, the realistically textured purple glass nautilus shell sets in a bronze stand with two Ibis birds gazing ahead which is set on a solid cast cobalt blue sailing vessel with incised wave crests and gilt unfurling designs reminiscent of Medusa or an alien octopus adding to the surreal-ness of the composition, appears unmarked, but can be found on their website pozycinski.com/NautilusBoat.html

The nautilus shell with a small bruise chip to one of the top nodules; some scuffs to the cobalt glass; overall good condition.
