Late 19th century, possibly Mexico or Central American, carved wood, gesso and polychrome, glass eyes, standing form of the Virgin Mary in billowing cerulean robes posed in pious gesture, atop a blue painted ovoid with crescent sides and two bas relief carved putti, all atop a tapered wood plinth.
