Dutch Delft Blue and White Pharmacy Jar, Signed

Late 18th century, the ovoid body inscribed on the front "Fol. Sambuci" within a cartouche formed by a flower filled vase with foliate scrolls, leafs, the large size designed to contain elder leaves, a common herbal remedy for sinus condition, marked on the underside De Drie Klokken. With a later brass cover.

Jar only 10 in.
